UFO Moviez India Ltd. first incorporated in 2004 as Valuable Media Private Limited, is India's largest digital cinema distribution and in-cinema advertising platform with 3897 screens across Premium and Mass Market segments, a reach of 1363 cities and towns and an aggregate seating capacity of approximately 17.5 lac viewers as on March 31 2018. The company’s 'cinema-on-wheels' solution Caravan Talkies has enabled advertisement in rural areas, making it a great platform for the Government and Corporates targeting rural markets. From 2005, UFO has digitized Indian cinemas and enabled same day release for movies across India. In 2008, UFO launched its incinema advertising platform. In 2010, UFO acted as technology service provider for enabling exhibition of live cricket matches across theatres in 2D and 3D. In 2018, UFO’s equity shares were listed on stock exchanges, and it acquired PJSA Technosoft Private Limited, Qube Digital Cinema Private Limited, and Moviebuff Private Limited in a bid to expand and create a more efficient and comprehensive service offering. Through the efforts of UFO, the digital cinema distribution and in-cinema advertising platform has significantly widened reach of media to underpenetrated and rural areas in India.
